Just watched again Martinez vs Williams I.. Something makes me feel that Chavez Jr fight will be more like Williams I fight. 1. Martinez dominating first few by coming forward.. 2. Losing late-middle rounds. Breathing by opening the mouth. 3. Martinez was not able to capitalize his hook that he managed to land through out the fight. Although in the 2nd fight he did.. Meaning, he could not capitalized on the opposition weakness on the fly and needed a second fight.. Having said all these, I badly need Martinez to win.. Big fan.. Wish him Good luck :hat
JCC Jr hits a lot harder than Paul Williams did. He will use his weight advantage in a more physical way. Plus Martinez is several years older- we haven't seen much of a difference yet but thats several years of punishment in the gym and a fight like this could tip Martinez over the end. I agree with YoungSlickness, JCC workrate pales in comparison to Williams too.
