Sorry to say this, my Mexican brethrens, but Martinez is gonna' beat Chavez like a father whoops his son for not cleaning his room. I'm even more convinced of this after seeing the weigh-in. Martinez was fired up like he was about to embark on a holy war, whilst Chavez looked he wanted to be tucked in his bed with his bowl of fruity loops. I really hope this won't be the case, but damn, any average joes watching the below vid will instantly think Chavez is the one that doesn't belong there.

We might be witnessing a massacre, folks.

I don't think Chavez gets past the 8th round, my prediction is TKO5.

I'll be amazed if sergio doesn't stop him.

    HE LOOKS PUMPED!!! :bbb:happy

I'm predicting a Martinez stoppage, too. But really, I'm hoping Chavez rises to the occasion.

And, although I wasn't watching, I was listening passively to the post weigh-in interview with Chavez where Max asks him what Martinez was saying, and the translater says: "He said he was going to rip my head off". I pissed myself laughing

i don't even think he gets KO'd. he quits or his corner stops it before it happens.
this is going to be brutal.

Yeah, I think the white towel is likely. Either Roach or Chavez Snr jumping in. It's gonna' be painful to watch.

The best finisher in the biz will close it out round 9 or so.

For the perfect act Omar Chavez should throw the towel in.

I've always been drawn to Mexican fighters, and a good number of my ATG's are Mexican, but I never took to JCC,and I thought Mexican fans would feel that Jnr was an archetypal silver spoon case,so I'm slightly surprised at the fanatical following.

    Chavez is getting sonned.

Everyone considers the straight left, but call it my tip; watch for a counter right hook over a lazy Chavez jab. That will be the fight changer.

    You betting?
I'm liking 33/1 Sergio in the last round or 28/1 in the 11th.
