Sergio is really up for this one. When I look at them square off there, he's the one I'm seeing the real desire and heart and intensity in. Comfortable win I think.

Not a big fan of predicting fights based on body language analysis from weigh-ins. Wasn't that one of the main reasons people thought Abraham was going to kill Froch?

 

i was confident in a martinez win... but after seeing this, i think chavez is pulling off the upset. i think martinez will start to fall apart when he realizes things arent going as easy as he thought and told everyone. his lack of respect and concern for his opponent is going to fill his head with negative thoughts by the third rd. by the 8th rd, he will settle into a "its not my night mentality" and get beat up.






i didnt want to make the same prediction everyone on here just keeps repeating between each other and high fiving over.

 

My gut feeling is that Jnr's come forward style will work early and Sergio will work it out from about the 5th,but whilst it's silly to use the Margarito fight as a yardstick against Sergio,I have this funny feeling that if Jnr can swarm effectively,he can win a few rounds and have Sergio thinking that he must knock him out.
I think the stoppage will come from cumulative pressure from Sergio,with Freddie being pressured by JCC Snr to throw in the towel.

I think Sergio is allowing his emotions and overall lack of respect for Junior to cloud his judgement. The boy is beast and is to be respected. I still like Junior, think the pressure and physicality will be too much.

 

If I were picking Martinez, the fact that Atlas picked him too would make me ****ing nervous.
