This isnt officially official, but is looking all but done. Check the scene for the source.

I say after it being relatively close at first, Martinez pulls out the late rounds and wins a 7-5 type decision.

    Martinez 115-113 Dzinziruk

    Thoughts?

Good fight if he's chasing Cotto, if he can get the scalp of another 154 champ. However, I would hope it's at a catchweight, maybe 155-157. I don't want to see Martinez fighting overmatched foes like Hopkins used to do.

I'll pick Martinez to come out super aggressive, dominate the first four rounds, lose three out of the next four because he is semi-gassed and taking a break, then coming back to win almost all the remaining rounds. So, Martinez 9-3 or 8-4. He would further justify his P4P stature if he could stop Dzin.

Okay fight. Does anybody want to truly see this? The guys at HBO have got the wrong view.

From what I hear of Dzinziruk, he's a bad dude. I'll have to watch more of him, but it seems Martinez is making a good case with fighting these top guys one after another. I'm not completely sold on Martinez. (although I think he beat Paul in the first fight) I may have to pick Dzinziruk on this one. Of course, I'll need to watch him fight.

I liked this fight at 154 a few years ago its over due now and Id prefer him facing middleweights like Golovkin Sturm and Pirog

Good fight. Martinez and crew are pondering on a super fight, but taking on Dzinziruk keeps him busy and sharp. He is not of the age to stay shelved waiting on a super fight.

Its a very dangerous fight for Martinez to take but he is showing he is fighting TOP Quality competition. Dzinziruk might be unknown to most but is a very good fighter whom HBO should of shown more of last year. Hope this fight happens. I give a 50/50 it could go either way!

So if it happens at 160 I take it Dz is moving up because of lack of finding a fight at 154?

Good move because all the talent is at 160. Great potential fights there and we'll see what Dzinziruk really is made of.
