Chavez is going to get murdered. It will be 8-2 in the 11th when Martinez knocks this guy something sick. I can see Chavez doing a chicken dance now.

 

I think Chavez proved he is legit tonight, but Martinez is a good fighter. Very very good. I doubt Chavez is going to take over and stop him in 7. We will see, but just the quality of Martinez and his resume make it a very tough fight for Chavez to win. But Chavez is going about his career the best way he can and building up his skills the correct way.

Based on Martinez's last 2 fights this could be a struggle for him. Then again Martinez and Barker applied intelligent pressure- I doubt JCC is capable of that yet. Its honestly a fight I would look forward too.

Chavez won't be able to deal with Martinez awkward Southpaw style, speed and movement. He isn't flat footed Andy Lee. Chavez is going to get schooled. No more being coddled he is about to fight the real deal and is going to get embarrassed.
