Rico. I was put off aswell by Sergio's 'bully' antics as of let too. But he's still on the right side of 'breath of fresh air' for me. I think of the garbage that was repping that prestigious title. The likes of Jermaine "Poster boy for bad boxing IQ" Taylor and Kelly "Staph" Pavlik. Remember the sh*t we had to go through with Taylor being pushed down our throats and then struggling to put smaller guys in the trunk and the Bobfather and Kelly's pops trying to keep that midwest cash cow from losing his Atlantic City paydays...till they miscalculated and picked on the old proffessor. Remember the Calzaghe talks, the antics with Mora and the clear ploy to keep stalling the AA fight till King AA would leave that prestigious division. They actually did it with Paul Williams too. Pulled that crap not once but TWICE. Sergio came in to save us like a knight in shining armour. He worked so f*** hard to get the Green Belt's interim tag just to get side winded by a political gift where Kermit the frog got a BS draw in losing a fight three times in one night, if you count his chief second coming on the canvas. Sergio vaccinated the Staph off Pavlik and put Paul Williams out of his misery. He's not been given the chance to burst the Chavez Jr bubble yet. Chavez Jr basically being allowed to duck Martinez...That's what makes me sick! I say lets be thankful to the boxing Gods for SMart restoring order to Hagler's prestigious office.
Although I think Sergio should win I think he probably stops Macklin I do think Macklin will tire late on I have this sneaky feeling Macklin might this pull It off. Maybe Sergio's age and performance in the Barker fight is swaying me in thinking this way I just don't know.
