Martinez vs Pacquiao at 154

Serg by way of his superior and longer jab. They both be southpaws, so Serg has even more openings to jab away.

 

I can't belive this **** is even being discussed, more realistic threads would be pac vs porter/mjones/mosley 2/oscar 2.....

 

Pacquiao will never fight Martinez, unless Martinez is on a losing streak and agrees to weigh in at 150 (Pacquiao can weigh 154) and agree to having one hand tied behind his back.

 

Sergio KO. Easy fight. He controls Pac easy with his southpaw jab and length

The people that got their ass kicked by Pac had **** defense. The people that beat him had good defense and are good counter punchers with decent enough speed. Pac will have a hard time landing clean on sergio with his reach advantage and his reflexes and Pac is going to eat some nasty counters by a much larger guy.

Pac took some shots from cotto and margo when they were in close but pac kind of let them hit him and a lot were kind of partially blocked. Martinez with his speed will land a lot better cleaner counters.

 

Pacquiao would ruin that guy.

Boring UD. At 154 Pacquiao would be too wary of Maravilla's power. It would be like Oscar but with less connect and damage.

 

Pacman hardly fights any fighters with good jabs and Cotto and Oscar were in bad shape by the time he fought them. The only thing helping Pacman here would be his footwork to his advantage. Sergio's jab and superior power will be the difference in this fight. I think Pacman will have his moments especially with Sergios hands down approach, but anyone with a brain knows that is a tactic Sergio uses to lure his opponents in. I think Pacman might even win acouple rounds I'm not sure if Sergio has the boxing IQ of the great counterpunchers like Marquez or Floyd, but Sergio is not far behind he's been around the block, but I do think he might struggle the most with an elite pressure fighter. I think Pacman will be hard to hit cleanly, but jabs to the body and right hooks blocked by Pacman will make Manny respect Sergio's power. Manny hasn't faced a fighter with similar speed and power as his. It will be a war with Manny winning and surprising most during the first 4 rounds wearing down Sergio while Sergio is patiently figuring Manny out and finally connects hurting Manny bad later in the fight. I think it might look something like Hagler vs Duran. 2 elite fighters in a close fight.
