Martinez vs Pavlik - Forgone Conclusion?

If Abraham was so anxious to fight Pavlik, why did Sauerland demand a $2 million dollar guarantee for a fight in the USA? If AA wanted Pavlik as bad as he claimed when he ran his mouth constantly, why didn't Sauerland ever offer a fight in Germany? Abraham and Sauerland talked **** non-stop in public, but when it came time to negotiate, they always made other plans.

 

You don't even have to watch the whole fight. The 5th and 6th rounds did it for me. I counted like 8 different points in those two rounds where I am pretty sure KP would have put Martinez away.

Also, today I saw some stills of Martinez sparring recently. In every single picture the left side of his chin was exposed, and that just can't be a good thing when KP is in front of you!

Martinez burned out down the stretch vs Williams.

Pavlik is a long volume puncher who does not tire he also hits very hard and has a great chin. He provides the same challenge as Williams but he packs more power. I don't think Martinez can hang 12 with Pavlik who is very hungry
