Lot's of threads here about the KOTY candidate (maybe clincher) 2nd round KO. But I read a lot of different opinions about the opening round, in wich some big shots were traded and Paul looked stunned for a moment but battled on directly after. I don't know what the judges scores were in the first, but in the RBR I already saw different scores coming by. I know it doesn't seem to matter much now, but I just wonder what way it would have gone if all rounds went something like round 1, knowing what happened last time they fought. So how did you guys score the first? Poll coming. I was thinking about a 4th option "didn't score/ do not care", but that would only make the outcome more difficult to interprete. So than just don't vote.
Easily Martinez... Williams was just throwing punches for the sake of it... Martinez wasw throwing heavier, more accurate, more damaging punches. I thought he was controlling the distance as well... don't know what Kellerman was talking about
1st rounds usually count for nothing but Martinez looked to have Williams range within 30 seconds of it.
