Great fight that went back in forth the whole time, but PW seemed to be getting some momentum as Sergio seemed to be slowing down. Martinez did land the harder cleaner shots, but I gave the fight to Williams by maybe about a point or so. A draw was not out of the question. Who you got CX7?

The judges are giving credit for volume as aggression, effective or not. I think it is a conscious decision because of competition from MMA. It is more crowd pleasing.

I gave it to Martinez, if it were an amateur bout then Williams would've taken it.

The sad thing is, we have seen equal and even worse decisions in the past. But yes, they have to be fixed cards, I also can't believe judges can be that ignorant.

Right, so we better change the scoring rules to fit our "needs" because of the MMA competition.

    **** that.

Judges are supposed to be professionals and they have to take effectiveness into consideration. If you ask me, it is the most important factor in a fight.

Williams won even though it was very close.

Was rooting for Martinez, but I had Williams winning by 1 point. I scored it the first time I watched it.

I thought the rounds that Sergio won were clearer, but I had Williams winning 6 rounds, including the last one.

Honestly I was going for Martinez and from what I remember it was back to back action really close and ****!ing exiting. Usually with fights like this I end up judging who pulls it out in the champ rounds and I gotta say that Martinez was retreating a bit and Paul was forcing the action. Martinez didnt pull a Clottey move but for the little recognition he has, he should have pulled through in the last rounds.
