By me and I think many others. I saw him fight cintron, he clearly had cintron out of that fight. They said he hasnt lost since margo and now all of Margo's wins are clouded in controversy.

Martinez fought a hell of a fight and not only is he a boxer but he is a fighter and he will get a rematch for sure. Analyzing this fight yielded some strange results. Pwill landed more and threw more and was the aggressor. Martinez landed the harder over all shots but less of them and had better defense.

Rounds were back and forth! I had the fight a draw every other rd after rd 6. Again the fight was extremely close and one judge was way off.

So in the end bashing PWill for fighting a very tough and under rated Martinez isnt fair. What is fair is recognizing martinez as the best at 154 along with pwill and start talking about him where he deserves to be discussed, that is with the elite fighters in boxing.

Martinez won the fight. He kept knocking Willliams' head back over and over again! Imagine if Martinez had had time to train for the fight like Williams did? He would have knocked Williams out, and almost did anyway.

Here is a real American criminal; Pierre Benoist

The one thing he needs to work on is his stamina.....I scored it for him, but if you see a williams card, the case can be made paul was the more active fighter....I just thought paul seemed to be stunned in a lot of the rounds.....he didnt appear physically hurt, but he looked "shocked" a bit.....

Sergio just needs to work on his stamina and he could be very very tough to beat....

It was a great fight, too many of these jackasses are too worried about the 119-110 scorecard, when the truth is it could have been 115-113 like the others and they would still be cring. some of the European posters here flat out suck, and they ***** about every fight that a European loses here. EVERY ****ING FIGHT. And Martinez isnt even European he only lived there for awhile.

I predicted he would win and I thought it came true. I knew he'd give Williams fits but his power really impressed me.

I think he's the best 154lber and 160lber in the world. Have done for quite a while so I'm glad he's proving it. Just needs to be more active.

I'll be the first to admit, I underrated Sergio Martinez. He's a terrific counterpuncher, and I love his style. He's smart about his work, he's patient, but when he throws...he commits 100%.

I think after this performance and the Cintron performance we can say that Sergio is already very tough to beat! He is a hard man who comes to fight. i thought he was gonna fold under the pressure after the mid rounds, but he kept up his work rate and won some late rds. He is a hell of a fighter!

Man I underestimated Martinez so bad, I feel like I should apologize to him. The man really proved his worth which is right up there with Paul Williams :good
