Saw it on the scene. No drafts of the contacts have even been exchanged. Thought this was a done deal, just deciding on a venue. Supposedly it's on pwill but who knows. I already got a room set up & everything.

It's Williams's side with the delusional demands. Williams is a typical HBO-delusional fighter. These fighters are being overpaid in order to be loyal to the network and be built up as marquee names generating huge ratings sometime in the future, that is HBO's strategy. But in reality, the Dawsons, Bertos and Williams' can't even sell out small arenas and generate half the HBO invested money, and their ratings are going nowhere, so it's money going out and not coming back. And when their stock drop or negotiate with other big names, they all have delusional demands and can't accept market reality - of course, they were overpaid all along! Amir Khan is the next overpaid HBO fighter, but at least he, just like Kelly Pavlik, has the draw power to sell out arenas and is a TV-friendly character, the same can't be said about Paul Williams.

Punished doesn't bring a large fanbase, nor big sponsors, nor big ratings, nor a single paper title and has no charisma whatsoever, and he's being offered the World MW Championship vs. a smaller guy coming from a financially successful fight - and 50% is not enough??? He doesn't even deserve the 50, but he should get it so that he could get his ass kicked.

It's just said " no venue" in which means this fight wants what kind of state of any arenas in which could be in new jersey, cali, new york.

Yeah why not AC? Williams and Martinez won big fights at ceasers. Do it on the east coast. Lord knows we have had a shortage of big fights lately.

They should do it @ boardwalk hall again or somewhere in nj. Even the prudential center. East coast definitely needs some big fights.
