Would love to see if Floyd could get the middleweight title. He may be in over his head on this one. I'd rather see Martinez vs sturm, or Sylvester, or Williams again I think Floyd should set his sights on guys like Manny, the Khan Paulie winner, or even a 154 lb belt holder if Sergio stays at 160 he will dump that wbc 154 seeing Floyd
s WBC loyalty he can go after it.

may work out, if floyd wants to test that route

would give him time to try a 154 tune up before making the jump all the way to MW

I can't see Floyd moving to MW. 154 is a real possibility, but he'd still come in very small on fight night. Personally, at 154, I'd pick Floyd over Martinez. I could see Floyd exploiting Martinez' balance issues.

MOST OF THE BOXERS WHO HAVE ESTABLISHED THEIR CAREERS ARE ACTUALLY IN THERE EARLY TO MID 30S..JUST AS IT ISN'T WLAD N VITALI'S FAULT THAT THEY DONT HAVE TOUGHER COMPETITION...ITS NOT FLOYDS FAULT THAT EVERYONE GOOD IS 31 AND UP NOT NAMED ANDRE BERTO..

ITS FUNNY HOW ALL THIS TALK STARTS AFTER THE MOSLEY FIGHT BUT NOT MUCH OF IT BEFORE..

btw THAT 35 year old Martinez just beat THAT 28 YEAR OLD MW CHAMP IN THE WORLD....

PLEASE STOP WITH THE AGE..IF HE FOUGHT BERTO MANY WOULD SAY HE WOULD BE "CHERRYPICKING ANDRE" AND HE ONLY 26..

SM IS THE RIGHT FIGHT SHOULD MANNY NOT AGREE TO THE TESTING...THIS IS THE ONE FIGHTER I COULD SEE GIVING FLOYD HELL CUZ HIS SIZE AND THE ADDED 13LBS AT MW...

What would be the point of fighting Martinez at 154?? Its not like Martinez is a big name. PBF has already held the 154 WBC title.
The only reason this is a lucrative fight for PBF is because Martinez also has the 160 WBC belt and on top of that is the lineal MW champion.
ITs a weight class PBF has never won a title in and its also against a fighter the same size as DLH. Not to mention he is a pretty boy who would do well getting some promotion so they could market the hell out of this guy.
Also dnot expect the fight to be at 160.
Im sure PBF will throw in a catchweight of about 157 for the MW titles.
That way Martinez doesnt come in at around 170 on fight night.
The good/risky thing about this is that MArtinez should not have any problem making the weight as he can even make 154.

If PBF and Maravilla ever fight for the middleweight title, I would assume it'll be a catchweight like 157 since Floyd would have a lot of negotiating leverage on Martinez

LOL, I'm sure he would like to. It would be the biggest payday of his career. Fortunately, Mayweather will not be moving to middleweight and the fight will not happen.
