I had the fight even going into rd 11, and had Sergio winning that rd. While he is landing shot after shot Im hearing nothing from the HBO commentators, then Lehderman gives Williams the rd? Sergio clearly landed the better shots.

I had Martines winnning the 12th also, and the fight at the very least a draw. No way PW won that fight!

Im starting to believe judges are on the take and ruining boxing

I scored 11 for Martinez, but 12 for PW. I had PW winning 115-113.

I scored the last two for Martinez, but the twelve was really close, it really came to what you preffered at the moment, the non-stop short punches from Paul or the harder shots from Martinez.

Lampley swayed you. 11th was a draw or Williams round. 12 was a Williams round too.

I had Martinez winning 10 and 11, but I gave Paul the 12th. 115-113 Paul Williams.

Lampley definitely swayed some folks here. I gave the last 2 rounds to Williams.

Martinez won that round, along with the 12th, and the fight.

    Yup.

Lampley's wailing didn't discount the hard shots and work Paul Williams did in those rounds.

IN the 11th, Martinez did nothing for the 1st minute of that round but eat uppercuts as he tried to reach Williams' body. And when Martinez rallied, Williams landed a response punch for every one Martinez landed. And Martinez's legs were dead. Plus Williams kept that jab on him.

Showed alot of heart, just came up short.

I gave Martinez the 11th and Williams the 12th. In the end I had it 114-114 draw. I think the fact that Martinez showed more signs of fatigue down the stretch, esp when he practically went down on his knees from exhaustion, caused a bad impression on the judges that mattered. Forget that other french guy, the guy's irrelevant.

Lampley was quiet for the 11th but what about the other 11 rounds when he was calling Williams straight lefts as Martinez rights when Martinez never even took his hands from his waist????

    I watched it twice now...

First time around without keeping my own score, just watching the fight, I thought Martinez clearly won by at least 2 rounds ( I was rooting for PW btw)

but the second time I watched it I kept score and scored it a draw.. bleh

What a great fight, and I think that they should make a rematch, and make it soon.

P.S. - 119-110 score is an utter shame to boxing

And Lampley keep saying "big right hand by Martinez" when he was throwing a ****in jab jesus christ. Lampley was in full cheerleading mood for Martinez.
