Martinez's shot was better than Pac's? Really?

williams had a win over him and had never been kocked out for one.

Hatton should have gotten KO'd by Lazcano... he wasn't doing too hot either. Not exactly a beast either, and clearly on the decline.

True, but I'm not defending Hatton, the guys limitations were there for all to see, it's the Paul Williams was a beast bull**** I'm contending, he's a good fighter no doubt but a beast? No way, and I've been banging that drum since long before the ko.

I agree with alot of your post BUT williams doesnt have a granite chin. He has a decent chin but someone with a great chin wouldnt get starched like that!!

Now margarito has a granite chin, I was at the mosley-margarito fight at staples! Margz took homerun shots for 8 and a half rounds!! That mother ****er tried to get up in the 9th when the ref waived it off, it was insane!! Tony also took some good night shots from pac for 12...

Both great shots! I think PAC's was slightly better only b/c it was more solid and the outcome was more devastating. But I do agree with Fighter of the year and KO of the year honors. Sergio grabbing the MW crown from Pav and KOing Williams is one hell of a year for the Argentine fighter.

  8. Pac's shot was cleaner, more devastating, and more poetic - it can't get any more symbolic than a fighter being laid out on the Rockstar logo, obscuring the word star, and then retiring.

Shakespeare couldn't have written it better.

    :deal:deal:deal

Unless Hatton woke up, uttered the words "Et tu, Pacman?" and then passed out again.

    :D :D :D

you're totally wrong. Hatton lost his punch resistance to Floyd, not the previous 1st round where he was knocked down twice.

If you want to rate a single punch, then Pac's KO punch was better than Martinez's, but it is definitely a more impressive feat that Martinez pulled off in KO'ing Williams, than Pac KO'ing Hatton.

  11. Doesn't matter if Hatton's chin was broken or not. That same punch KOs Clottey, Cotto, Floyd, Berto, Alexander, Bradley, Maidana, Khan, Marquez, etc..

I think of both ko's equally, great devastating shots.

You don't lose your punch resistance from one fight. That punch would have ko'd a pre Mayweather peak Hatton.
