Martirosyan: "..if I fight Cotto I won't jump out of the ring"

    These comments are obviously directed towards Kermit Cintron who is also vying to score a nice payday in a fight against Miguel Cotto in December.

    Vanes goes on to say:


    Honestly, as a Cotto fan, neither one of these two fights interests me all too much; however, this banter between Martirosyan and Cintron is getting juicy. I propose they fight each other on the under card while Cotto fights Cintron's stable mate Berto in the main event. :yep Should be a relatively easy card to make considering Cotto and Martirosyan are both TR fighters and Berto and Cintron fight for Dibella.

    Vanes hasn't beat anybody worth a damn. I think Cintron vs Martirosyan would be interesting.

    Martiroysan got handled by Ouma. He doesn't deserve any big fight yet.

    Maybe if he fights someone like K-9 or even Foreman I would be interested, but right now I'd prefer a Cintron fight.

    Though we both know thats not gonna happen.

    K-9 will just get jobbed against Martiroysan no matter if K-9 wins every round.

    I really don't understand what is so attractive about a Cintron-Cotto fight. Vanes is right about Cintron although he hasn't proved himself to be worthy of the opportunity either. If it's really only between these two to fight Cotto then that would really be a shame.

    I'll prefer Cotto vs. fraud (Cotto deserve a big payday) Cintron vs. Chavez, Lara vs. vanes. What are your thoughts?

    Cintron is a disappointment. He's good but he's just so darn mentally weak. TBH, I'm a Cotto fan but I too have no interest in a fight between him against either Cintron or Vanes. Angulo is basically a poor mans Marg so I'm not too interested in that either though it would be an entertaining fight and is the one I prefer the most out of the matchups I mentioned.

    I'd probably buy Cotto-Vanes. I wouldn't order Cotto-Cintron.
