     GB Promotions CEO, Richard Schaefer, has advised ***********.com that junior middleweight contender Erislandy Lara (17-1-1, 11KOs) has signed his contract to fight unbeaten Vanes Martirosyan (32-0, 20KOs) in a WBC final eliminator on November 10th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas - as part of the Manny Pacquiao HBO pay-per-view undercard.

    In an earlier article on *********** , Vanes' manager and uncle, Serge Martirosyan, stated how his nephew signed the contract three weeks ago and they were simply waiting on Lara to sign his version.

    "I talked to Lara's adviser, Al Haymon, today - and they confirmed that Lara signed the contract and is ready to go. The reason he didn't sign it before is because he actually got it late. He just had to review it, but it's all done. I understand that in the contract it stipulates that the fight will happen on November the 10th, at the MGM Grand as part of the Pacquiao card. We are ready to go and now let's see if Martirosyan is actually going to get into the ring. I have my doubts but based on the way they are talking I guess he will - which is great,"

    I am the most negative person here and I gotta admit i never thought this fight could happen. Respect for both parties taking the high risk fight.
