Throwing the towel must be accepted by ref. This is done to prevent random towel throwing (fans, etc).

 

if that is the case... and i was a cornerman and watching this, i would throw the towel next time just to give my guy a rest if he was in the fight but losing the stamina battle !

i think foreman's wife threw in the towl. She was in the corner and they showed her for a brief moment.
