Rick Rude was the one of the greatest heels ever. All through simplicity too.

Here's hoping Rubio brings back the perm to go with the stache of kings.

Rude was a good heel, but not even close to a prime Ric Flair. Best heel I ever saw was probably before your time. Dutch Savage - this guy scared me half to death when i was a young boy.

No -- Randy Savage = Randall Poffo.

    Dutch Savage = Frank Stewart.

Not sure if you'd know who I was talking about but my grandfather worked for his dad Angelo Poffo. Said he was a pretty good guy.

Ya the elder Poffo took a few bumps on WWF at one point.

As for Dutch Savage he may have been the best developmental guy ever in history. He had a hand in making Terry Funk, Lonnie "Moondog" Mayne, Playboy Buddy Rose, Roddy Piper, Dynamite Kid, Ric Martel, Kurt Hennig, Matt Borne, Buzz Sawyer, Billy Jack Haynes, and a dozen or more others. He also worked matches with every NWA champ from Lou Thesz to Ric Flair.

On one hand this thread is off topic.

On the other it's getting bumped up so that people could see that the fight is tonight.

Assuming I have the channel and nobody is doing a R-B-R, I'll do one.

    Thanks for the heads up.

I hope this new Boxing series on FOX/Comcast Sportsnet is fruitful!
