Its a pity Ray Leonard didnt have the necessaries to give Marvelous Marvin a rematch. I think he knew Marvin would get revenge for that robbery
A robbery? Is everything a robbery to you? You're like the boy who cried wolf CJ. Calling every fight a robbery. One day there's really gonna be a wolf but no one will believe you beacuse you call everything a robbery. Hagler gave away the early rounds to Ray by fighting Orthodox. That was not a smart strategy CJ. Marvin was too over-confident he thought Leonard was a joke and he could easily beat him. Then after a couple of rounds he realized he was losing and had to return to his normal style to get back into the fight. But Ray's level of concentraton that night was on another level. Ray was determined to be victorious and would not be denied.

The boy who cried wolf trying to tell me how to score. It wasn't Marvelous of Marvin to come out fighting orthodox. He gave away those rounds CJ, and he couldn't make up the deficit. Leonard's determination to win was too great.
