    Dear Friends
    kind regards
Today we continue with our Fantasy Warfare threads.
I am now dedicated to making threads about the other great weight divisions in boxing and this is one of the best by far.
Everyone knows the great Chris Eubank, a man with a great dress sense and eloquent manners.
Eubank was a great middlewight and super middleweight.
How would Eubank fare against the truly Marvelous Marvin Hagler?
Hagler was the unstoppable monster of the middleweight division, one of the stalwart men who made 80's boxing worth watching.
Who wins in a prime for prime clash between Chris Eubank and Marvelous Marvin Hagler?
Would Eubank's class and skills be enough to prevail?
Or would Hagler add another hapless victim to his KO record?
Will it go the distance or is someone going to be counting sheep on the canvas?
If you could vote in the poll and give me your opinions A.S.A.P I'd appreciate it.
    yours thankfully
    John

I would say Hagler outboxes him, using his jab and his good combos, and mixing in when to be more aggressive and when to back up or move laterally. Eubank was a pretty durable guy, I say he lasts the distance and drops a clear UD.

I'm a massive Eubank fan, but from the footage I've seen of Hagler I say the Marvelous one takes this.

agree with the guys above. marvin has too much for chris but doesn't take him out. it would take an absolute monster to take eubank out and as great as marvin was i don't think he's the man for that particular job.

    hagler UD.

  8. Hagler would have a field day with Eubank and box him 6 ways from Sunday and shut him out on the cards..Eubank may win a round but that's all..

Hagler 100%. Eubank would have his moments but Hagler would pour it on. Eubank always hears the bell at the end though.

Of course a guy with solid power and excellent skills like Hagler had "could" knock Eubank, or most fighters, down or out.

It doesn't mean he would just because Watson and Calzaghe dropped him.
