I wished he was more prolific in his later years but he chose to live a private life you gotta respect that. Its great seeing legends turn up at fights and see them get respect and applause from the crowd. My last memory of him ringside was Tony vs McCallum. Not sure how many appearances he made after that
We may have our differences on this board but we all love this sport to a stupid extent and few more exemplified this sport, at least in our lifetimes, than The Marvelous One. Thoughts to the man's family and loved ones.
RIP Champ. One of my favorite fighters of all time. An absolute relentless bulldog in the ring who would pound you into submission. Incredible combination of boxing skill, power, endurance, and will. Sad day.
This is just shocking horrible news.the world has lost a sporting icon ,one of its toughest men and a wonderful human. Im gutted
