This one hurts.

 

Wow. A real shock. Hagler was one of the true success stories of the sport. An incredible career that ended at the right time, retiring with millions in the bank and his faculties intact. He made a real life for himself after his boxing career was over too. He was always in great condition in the ring and looked the picture of health in retirement too. I figured he'd go on well into his 80s and possibly longer so this is hard to fathom.

 

Damned shame, RIP Champ. WAR!

 

Shocking news. R.I.P. to the greatest Middleweight of all time

I’m absolutely shocked by this.
Marvin always seemed in great health for his age.
One of my favourite fighters and true greats of the sport.

I am shocked. I have seen pictures of him bike riding and looking great. All the best to the whole Hagler family. This was unexpected.

Almost unbelievable. I didn't expect Hagler to go so soon. He's the epitome of what a boxing champion should be.
