End of discussion. Hagler has spoken

Just like Duran - Mayweather would be ordinary in my era

no debate. Floyd is nothing close to great. Can't deny Hagler and Duran.

No great fighters since Hopkins/Jones era

Hopkins and Jones? You mean the guys who were anally raped by Joe Calzaghe?

when they were 40+ and well past their prime

and as for Hopkins - getting raped in the same fight where Calzaghe Sr prior to rd 12 says "What are you doing?" "It's OVER" "You've gotta stop him" "You've GOT to stop him"

doesnt sound like Calzaghe Sr is confident that was a legit victory

they can say what they want tbh... you can say he's not fighting as good fighters as they did but at the end of the day he's beating these lesser guys so without ever pitting himself against the level they claim they fought then theres no way of knowing. The fact he's won every fight tells me he wouldn't be ordinary in any era..

All those guys were losing to each other... hagler beats hearns but lost to leonard... hearns drew with leonard and was robbed but then also got stopped by leonard. Leonard lost to duran but then beat him. These guys all act asif they won against all these top level guys they fought. You throw floyd in that mix and i'm sure he'd lose to one or two and beat one or two just like they did with each other..

Hagler lost and drew fights to these so called lesser fighters and floyds never suffered that...

Your being silly though and just being a hater for the sake of it. Why is it always floyds fault a fight doesn't happen... he wasn't always in a position to fight whoever he wanted.. & also lets face it, there hasn't been any real, lets say future atg he could of fought. Only manny. Haglers era had lots...

You just can't stand that Calzaghe came over and exposed Hopkins and Jones - so you make all types of excuses. Did you see the way Jones and Hopkins were running and hiding like little girls towards the ends of those fights?

THAT'S BECAUSE CALZAGHE IS THE MAN!

Name me one fighter Floyd has fought that is anywhere close to the quality of Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, or even Benitez.

Oh wait you can't. So your comparison is apples to oranges and completely stupid. of course those guys were losing to each other, there's at most maybe 5 boxers in all of history around that weight class that would have gone undefeated against those 4.

Floyd - clear case can be made he lost to B-level Castillo in the first fight
I feel Floyd clearly won 7-5, 8-4 against B-level Maidana (Roger Mayweather says - Maidana has not beaten anyone that impressed me), but some feel it could have been a draw

with 2.5 fights a year and a 18 month layoff no wonder he doesnt suffer losses or draws.

I guess youre one of those guys who thinks 46-0 actually means something

Show me a fighter who's undefeated and I'll show you a man who's never fought anybody - Whitey Bimsten

But when he was on the rise he can't of done... bob did... no doubt he picks and chooses now.. he picks world champs and guys moan though... realistically given all the circumstances with tr n gbp who would you want him to fight.. 147/154... that makes financial sense and would help his legacy ... there isn't really anyone..
