    No, I agree, Duran beat him fairly.

    But it does seem Leonard had the wrong game plan. He laid it out talking to William Knack of SI before the fight. It's laid out in the article. At the same time, Duran clearly applied massive pressure and forced Leonard to fight his fight, as well. I think it was a combination of those two factors.

    In the rematch Leonard had a different game plan and Duran was in much worse shape both mentally and physically than he was in the first fight. Thus, Duran was embarrassed and quit.

    You keep saying he laid out the wrong game plan... and then don't watch the video where he tries to fight different than his "game plan" in the first two rounds before being badly hurt. It's nothing new to state your plan, but knowing your foe might read it (especially an SI article), so you fight different. If it doesn't look like he's standing his ground and not moving in round one and two before being hurt... then how was he sticking to this supposed game plan in an article. He was fighting more how Angelo said than what he said. That isn't computing for me
