None of your diatribe addresses that Whitaker would be a very tough and competitive go for Duran at 135. That's a dream match-up as both were great at 135

I agree that the Benitez fight has worth .. but Duran still had to climb more than him and the fight is at 154. I still think the Leonard fight is more significant to put the stamp on how good Duran really was .. We knew this at 135. but to go up and beat SRL is more relevant, imo .. Without breaking down the other fantasy fights, I have Duran beating Floyd and Pernell at 135 .. In short, I'll take Duran's offense over their defense. I do not see him having a problem with Floyd, Pernell is a close fight

Hagler dominated a "leftover" of Leonard (Thomas Hearns).

Do your homework is a figurative, not literal term.

Yes, I am a College graduate. I can read very well and apply logic.

No, I will not change my handle.

That was cute that you took one of the "As" off my handle.

I am acutally quite a happy person, though.

I think I can analyze the career of Matthew Saad Muhammad just fine without ever having attended one of his fights.

I hope you get the boulder sized chip off your shoulder at some point.

    If not, oh well.

    Have a nice day.

BTW: I think if Saad Muhammad was still alive and read the insults you throw around on here, he would probably think you were a Di$k. He seemed like a cool dude.

We never said Duran wasn't a great fighter.

We simply refuted your arguments concerning Marvin Hagler.

    We don't "hate" any fighters.

You, though, seem to have some sort of bias against Hagler and for Duran judging from your emotionally laden posts on this matter.

BTW: please resume taking your meds. Nobody wants to hear your insulting rants.

    Why would i complain?

You can get yourself booted just by insulting everyone on here

I don't have to do anything.

I am sorry you have emotional issues.

    Have a nice day,

You don’t have to be a college graduate to read well and apply logic...I know many kids who coasted their way through college skipping classes, smoking weed everyday..how much does a degree mean these days other than destroying your bank roll? A lot of college grads struggle to find jobs these days and are in serious debt. I say go to the school where you have to pay the Least amount of money

That's true when assessing legacy. His accomplishments are what they are.
But that doesn't mean every time he loses above 135, he gets a pass for being "just a lightweight", because actually he was a legit sized welter.

Pretty sure if he stayed at lightweight and lost again, the excuse would be the reverse ie. He's been struggling to make lightweight, shoulda moved up.

As usual with Duran, people like to count the wins and find excuses to disgregard the losses.

Or guys move up for money, and fame. Hagler had offers to fight at light heavyweight. I bet his walk around weight was close to 175 pounds.

I hope the readers age 15-19 do not take that advice. There is clear evidence a college graduate makes a lot more than a non-college graduate during the course of his or her working lifetime.

If you don’t have a lot of money get a 2 year degree at a community college than transfer to a 4 year university. You’ll save a lot of money.

A student loan an to pay off 2 years at a university is less than a monthly car payment. Okay you it might take 6-10 years to pay off. So what.

That’s not what I am saying. A college degree is great. But I don’t agree with the above poster that you need a college degree in order to be well read and able to apply logic

I also think private university’s are a rip off. Why pay 50-60 grand a year when you can pay 5-10 year from a state school?

    He didn't say that though.

In theory, you do it for the prestige and the social capital (peer and alumni networks). Lots of people make shockingly bad and uninformed decisions in choosing schools and majors though.

You pick Whitaker to outbox Hagler? You're making even less sense than when you bag Duran endlessly with posts containing more holes than swiss cheese. Wowowowowowow

Some private schools are a rip off, not all.

You don’t need a college degree to apply logic, but it can help intellectually speaking and open doors for better employment opportunities.

It’s one thing if you have the scores to get into Harvard or MIT

But students in New England region are choosing schools like roger Williams and Springfield 60k a year over a 10k a year school like Plymouth state....why?

So paying 60k a year gives you more opportunities vs a 10k a year state school?
