people sure love to hate him, even the average joe who cant name 5 boxers floyd fought call floyd a coward and a wife beater, just goes to show how ignorant some people can really be, i guess i cant blame the haters for living in box, without them, who else am i gonna make fun of

I've met ppl who don't know **** about boxing who hate him and few that like him, they aren't even at casual fan level, literally don't know squat, and they were excited about the mosley vs floyd looking for a place to watch it.

People love drama. They'd rather share hate for something or someone and spread lies than actually face the facts and the truth. I used to hate on Mayweather till I started realising that Gatti vs Ward performances is not what boxing is all about. Pacquiao is a great fighter but Floyd is the truth. You won't get another Floyd Mayweather Jr for years to come.

Good for Hagler, he told it like it really is about Void. Hagler was a warrior, Void is a woman beater!

Its not surprising that the majority of these noobs hate floyd and side with pac on bull**** and then say "who has floyd beat?" Thinking that Floyd s first fight was with Oscar:lol:

For half of Floyds "fans" the Floyd and Oscar 24/7 was their introduction to boxing.

most of floyd fans posting here are even new and only made their account when floyd returned from his retirement. the only remaining old timers were pimp c, toopretty and 4 others. i wouldn't be surprised if the other's just started following floyd after his brief stint at WWE.

    I beg to disagree.

Ali was flamboyant but was full of idealism. He was going against the system.

PBF is flamboyant and full of himself. He is ****in up the system.

This is just great stuff. What is even greater will be watching Floyd get flattened like a pancake vs Pacquiao. he is such an overrated WW that I wouldnt be surprised if Ortiz retires him. Retire to avoid the creme de le creme of Welters and then make up a new rule to avoid the most dangerous active fighter of his era.
Absolutey hands down the most overrated fighter of all time. *****s are great for boxing because nothing creates more buzz then when hype jobs go down for the count.
I just cant wait for the excuses when he gets ktfo. His place in history has already corrected itself. lets see if his skills will follow the trend.

    Good interview!

The thing with Hagler is that he never had any charisma while Duran,SRL, and Hearns all did. I am not saying he wasn't the best or worst out of the 4 of them its just he was too old fashion during that era when things were changing and he got left behind as far as marketing wise.

I agree that there should be only one belt for each division. And IMO they should stop boxers fighting for titles at catch weights.
