Good post. The line about Monzon resonated. Although he isn't my favourite fighter, I find him the most intriguing and elusive of them all - which is saying a lot, considering how many outsized personalities there have been in boxing. Whatever you think of him stylistically, he was an absolute BOSS in there.
I voted none of the above although Monzon would have been a good test for him before Hagler creams him The Briscoe fight, you could tell hagler was holding back on him, and thus fighting only at half speed Hopkins, although industrious, has no chance The only real question mark would be Greb (no film available) His lone weakness is when unmotivated for an opponent, would appear mechanical as he was for Geraldo
look how he keeps his left low. He wouldnt get away with that with Hagler Hagler, with his superior movement & defense, would just pick him apart from long distance, simillar to the Sibson fight
A chance, yeah, though I wouldn't make him favourite at 160lbs. It would get really interesting at 168/175lbs, though.
