    I can’t agree. Actually Mc callum might be the one to most challenge Ggg. Great fundamentals and very tough.hearns and rjjs physical frailties might be their undoing against a relentless grinder like GGG with great fundamentals and lethal power...

    Hagler was starting his film career retired in Italy while GGG was still beating the best, he was avoided to hell in his prime.
    Imagine what a 28 yr old GGG does with a Jacobs or Canelo?

    And like Hagler, no one middleweight or below gets close to knocking out prime GGG.

    What about now GGG needs somebody now he losing his mojo. He should move up to supermiddleweight no tuneups and take on all champions only. He couldn't beat any of them or the new Cuban Morrell.

    GGG has NEVER, EVER took the kind of shots that Hagler did. Hagler has a ATG P4P chin whereas GGG was getting stiffened by Canelo.

    Remember what Tommy Hearns RH did to Duran? Well Hagler took those same shots without blinking.

    Robert 'The Beast' Mugabi was 24-0 with 24 KO's when he fought Hagler and again he walked through some thunderous shots.

    Hagler is quite possibly THE toughest SOB to ever lace up gloves and in his prime his boxing IQ was on another level. He battered world level Tony Sibson in 6 rounds with pretty much just his jab, crushed World level Minter in 3. There's probably no more than 3 MW's in all history that have a chance against the very best Hagler, and GGG ain't one of them.

    The reason Hagler could take Hearns power is because he was a natural middleweight, Duran was not. Plenty of middleweights could take Hearns power and did, why not Golovkin?? Who has a great chin. Golovkin ****s Hearns up, if Barkley could have success, why not a better fighter in GGG

    Well let's flip that coin then. When Hearns fought Barkley , Hearns had moved up several weights and was far from prime, in against another teak tough SOB and athough beaten by Barkley, went on to take belts at SMW, LH and competed well up at Cruiserweight so.... What was your point again?

    And who has GGG fought on Hearns level and looked dominant against? He squeeked past Jacobs, drew and lost against a former light middleweight and again squeeked past Derevyenchenko.

    Plus saying that GGG ****s up Hearns is just down right disrespectful. Hearns right hand could wipe out anybody if landed properly.

    That’s not a prime Golovkin against Jacobs or SD.. Barkley could take his power but a middleweight in Benn bounced him all over the shop for a first round tko . Hearns is a killer puncher at 147 at middle it’s excellent but not the same

    What about Steve Collins? Don't laugh. Big strong tough fearless and awkward as hell. I reckon he'd give Marvin or GGG s tough time....

    You are wasting your time and pixels with a fanboy pal...

    HE goes on and on about GGGs prime which was 10 years ago while he was fighting bums and the likes of Hagler and Hearns etc etc were all fighting each other ....Leonard and Hearns fought when they were early 20s ,GGG was wasting his time knocking over cans...

    Lomachenko moved to pros and went straight for belts there is another eastern european doing the same thing(forget his name) while GGG spent 11 years wasting his career!

    As i said before there is no point comparing what Hagler DID do in his prime to what GGG DIDNT do in his prime...He should have went pro and went straight for belts if he was that good ,instead his best win is a life and death against a guy who had spine cancer that broke his back...

    I think the best shout so far to match HAgler is Mike McCallum although he is noway near this era

    So , enlighten me when GGGs prime was and who he was fighting

    A load of fighters nobody has ever heard of thats who....He was the wrong side of 30 when he fought Rosado and Matt Macklin ffs

    End of this foolishness .....Pick a middleweight who you think could have tested Hagler in last 10 years

    Usyk still doesn’t match up with what Loma has done, although cementing himself as the greatest cruiser ever imo. Anyway it’s a thread about Hagler v current champs no ? GGG
