Dubal Speek reminds me of Tommo, Glover etc etc

You know the guy who keeps reappearing every few months and talks about how modern fighters are all better than fighters of yesteryear.

Bolt is undoubtedly a freak of nature.

    Freak of nature + PED = 9.58

    Simple maths.

I agree. Heavyweight boxing is full of anabolic drugs. I know big guys of 6'4 and 6'5 and more are well capable of putting on good muscle weight without drugs but when they are in direct competition with their peers in such a brutal sport it's inevitable that they will increase their strength, speed, power as quickly as possible if they feel they can.

We might have a winner, we'll see where this goes.

I can't confirm or deny allegations that exist in your mind, they are your property to do with as you wish.

I thought he was saying the exact opposite? It's hard to tell on here, though! I remember Tommo and Glover, they used to drive me mad!

We might never know for sure.
I'd say he's the biggest genetic freak among other genetic freaks, and likelihood is they are all taking PEDs.

I tend to believe IT IS POSSIBLE for a man to compete at the elite level without PEDs, even in sprints or strength sports, but realistically I have to draw the line at SETTING NEW WORLD RECORDS, nevermind shattering them.

    :good
    In many cases, yes.
But it's six of one, half dozen of the other.
Testing was non-existent and dosages maybe bigger then, but the choice of drugs and the knowledge now exceeds what they had by a fair degree. :good

I was thinking more of former Cruiserweights, but I think there have been a few dodgy "big" guys, too.

    HAGLER VS ALVAREZ

Canelo goes in....shaking like a leaf. Time machine has SENT HIM BACK, it's 1980 all over again. Only difference is.....WE KNOW WHAT HAGLER HAS DONE/WILL DO! Canelo is only a 2016 product yet developing. Well....we think Canelo has VERY GOOD CHANCES. VERY GOOD CHANCES OF BEING KO'd in 1ST, 2ND OR 3RD round.
We can't send Hagler to the future and that is why! No changing what's been written in stone. The past history is written in stone. It's Hagler's day, Hagler's time. Canelo is utterly destroyed.
We are not advanced enough to send Hagler forward. Beep. Beep beep. Computer ticket #23, finished.....

Yeah, and the problem is, some of these "natural" heavyweights who were "never cruiserweights" might actually have been on anabolic drugs since they began boxing.
Steroid use, for example, is so rife in normal life, it would be crazy to think boxers wouldn't be dabbling from their amateur days or even before. Especially with the heavyweights, many of whom take up boxing in their late teens and early 20s because they are big, and some of whom are drifting into boxing from other sports.

    agreed.
it was a while ago, but greg lemond was able to beat dopers and he's considered credible.
