Now, the question is, being that prime Marvin KO'd all the best MW's of his era, could he do so with this big cat as well?

Hagler would have to showcase his boxing skills to win this one, and he would, no doubt, by a 15 round decision.

No, he could not do the same with Tiger. In fact, Marvin may not even win.

I definitely dont see Hagler stopping Tiger. But I do see Marvin winning by decision. Like 10-5, or 9-6 in rounds.

One of the few men Hagler couldnt stop. He could possibly win on points.

Love both, but I got Dick Tiger winning by outslicking to a close UD.

Tough call. I would call it a draw. Tiger was that good as well.

To be honest ,I cant remember how effective Tiger was against southpaws ,or who among them he fought.
This is a winnable fight for Tiger ,but I go with Hagler by close dec.
Incidentally,in reference to another post I can think of several middleweights Hagler would not stop, imo.

Papke,Ketchel,Lamotta,Zale,Walker,Griffith, Giardello,Valdez ,Fullmer , Greb .To be going on with.

    No.

He could beat Tiger, but he'd have to box like hell and use every ounce of versatility he has, like he did against Briscoe or Sibson. He wouldn't win a toe-to-toe battle with Tiger.
