Marvin Hagler vs Eugene Hart/Bennie Briscoe

    Been watching a few old Hagler fights lately i have on in a video collection. I was greatly impressed with his movement and positioning. He looked so sharp and calculated. He was ht with some huge shots but kept his composure and was always in control. In his major fights with Leonard and Hearns the spring does not seem to be in his step.

    My thought is that a peak Hagler would damage Leonard, challenging his middleweight crown. Outbox him thoroughly. What do you think?

    Agreed. Of course you are talking almost ten years before when moving up thru the ramks

    At some times Marvin seemed very quick and fluid while at other times looked slow and stiff (Doug Demmings)


    He looked a worthy contender vs Demmings but nothing special. While in the third Monroe fight looked ten times the fighter
