Prime Hagler normally took a few rounds to get to up to his marvelous best, so Tito may edge the early rounds. But Hagler would eventually devour the smaller Trinidad, with Felix Trinidad's fighting heart deciding which middle round he is stopped in (six through to ten I reckon).
Hagler would outbox Tito for a few rounds, landing that southpaw jab, and then turn it up and stop him in the mid rounds.
??? Tito had a passable chin. And he doesn't see any part of the third round, here. What's with all the Tito v ATG MW threads ? Tito was 3-2-0 at MW, with two devastating defeats. His best scalp was a past-prime William Joppy. Hagler ? Monzon ? Greb ? :huh
Trinidad was down a lot though, especially in the 2nd round... however, he usually went on to stop the fighter who dropped him. Hagler was one of the most durable fighters ever, I don't see Trinidad being able to bother Hagler much, even with his best punches. If Trinidad starts fast he will get dropped early. He'd get up... what would he do after the knockdown? If he continues to trade he gets stopped soon after. If Trinidad tries to box he may last the distance. Either way, Hagler wins.
After Marvin cuts Trinidad in half in 2 brutal rounds in which Trinidad doesn't even know what truck hit him, Hagler's arrested for aggravated assault before he reaches his dressing room
