Hagler will pressure and pressure and Floyd's lead straight right hand and potshots won't even have any effect on Hagler. If Floyd can handle the pressure all 12 or 15 rounds maintaining his stamina and slickness/speed , cat like reflexes then he might be able to UD Hagler..... But Hatton pressured Floyd also and Floyd stopped him with a counter shot, i don't think it will hurt Hagler and Hagler can definitely hurt floyd. So it's either Hagler by TKO because Floyd gasses out because of Hagler's strength and too much pressure or Floyd by UD in a survival potshot running fashion
SRL survived Hagler. PBF would not. He doesn't have the pop to keep Hagler honest. He'd get steamrolled.
He gets his ass knocked out. Leonard was bigger than Mayweather. He can do middleweight. Mayweather can't even stick around at 154 and very rarely fights a legitimate welterweight. Hagler would rip Mayweather up.
at leat we know there is at least 3 stupid people in the world more than we need who think floyd will ko marvin thats funny ****
unlike Duran, Hagler would get to Mayweather and work him over and wear him down for a late round knockout.
I usually give PBF the benefit of a doubt with reasonable H2H ATG match ups. This is not one of them. Hagler is not some come forward technically inept slugger like Hatton. He is technically sound, iron chin, double fist powerhouse that has proven he can handle fast technical fighters. PBF needed 10 rounds with Hatton at 147. Hagler would need less than than with PBF. I say middle rounds and that is giving PBF some credit. It would not be close.
I would absolutely love to see this. My all-time favorite, true warrior fighter beating the living **** out of PBF. Where's the ***** bigade?
If you have seen peak Marvin Hagler fight, and not the past-prime version who fought Leonard, you would not dare to ask this question. Floyd Mayweather would never fight again if this match-up went ahead. Hagler is one of the most complete fighters in history, and he would have enormous size and strength advantages over Floyd. This would be a horrible slaughter.
Floyd never had the offense or power Leonard had. Hagler would easily, easily walk right through his punches. And to make things worse Hagler was a southpaw, one of the best of all time. I'd give Floyd 2-3 rounds at the most. He gets outmuscled and overpowered by Hagler. Hagler also had a strong powerful jab, not as flashy as Floyd's, but much stronger. Floyd would be in survival mode the whole time. There's also the possibility Floyd would lose a great amount of speed, stamina, and power at 160 not to mentiona taking bigger shots. Hagler by a clear, clear decision.
