Hagler, better boxer, top chin ,he would win this with his jab, GGG doesn't move his head he is easy to catch with straight punches.

GGG has got a great jab as well, I think his body shots would have a big effect on Hagler down the stretch.

    I'm a fan of Golovkin's, but I don't see him beating Hagler

GGG is coming off his worst performance in years. By his current age Hagler was retired!

His opponents speed and countering skills had something to do with GGG's lack of defense. In other fights GGG has much better defense.

But the truth of the matter is GGG did not respect his opponents power and tried to hard for the early KO.

Hagler had issues with Duran's ferocity. Duran does not hit in GGG's zip code. I favor GGG

I wouldn't put money on either, I think GGG's power and strength would tell late on.

Marv takes a tough battle by stoppage.

Just to underline the difference in class - at about the age that 3G first defended a major world title, Hagler was retiring having been undisputed mw champion for 7 years.

Well GGG is the most avoided fighter in the game today, maybe in the past 20 years. Canelo andMArtinez wanted no part of him. Not his fault.

He's 17-0, or is it 18-0, in middleweight title fights, winning them all by knockout.

Hagler on points a close decision be it over 12 or the old championship distance of 15.
Hagler had a great chin, head movement and would of backed up GGG at times.GGG a great at cutting the ring off on the front foot no one around today capable of showing us what he is like under pressure.Hagler would of asked those questions.
No mistake GGG is a beast of a fighter who can only beat what is around today Hagler was operating in a great era,GGG would of been a fantastic addition to that golden era back in the day.

Hagler had trouble with Duran's boxing ability not his power. GGG is not on Duran's level in terms of all round ability.
