So we went from me making it up to it actually happening. Which one is it? Dumb ass. Doesn't your ass hurt from all that dickriding?
Yes - Geale... ...the guy, who in his prime, couldn't turn in a convincing enough performance against his main, over-the-hill, domestic rival, Mundine. The same guy who allowed the WBC title to be hijacked by a couple of overgrown Welterweights (one a former Light Welter) thanks to him getting knocked out by Cotto (not even close to being a genuine campaigner at 160); turning the middleweight division and lineal championship into a catchweight circus. To be fair to Geale, however, he had already lost a decision to the frail Darren Barker, before that. OK - all of that was a bit harsh - but, you take my point.
Willie Monroe would have beat Geale up. Monroe was a top 10 contender in one of the most talent stocked era's in middleweight history in one of the toughest boxing cities of the time. Just because you don't recognize the names on his resume doesn't mean he was a bum.
As you know Hendrix went on to become a ATG.... We can all make up stories and bull****, just like your mother lied when she told you you're not inbred....
Were you there? Did you see the knockdown? Was it a push? Did he slip? Because if he didn't then you only go down with a body shot if you are badly winded or injured. The man stated that he got straight up and proceeded to beat me up. Chances are if it did happen it was a trip or a slip.
Yep you're right, the knockdown might have not happened for all we know. Your ass is owned now run along and go lick some windows....
Sparring is sparring. I'm just bringing it to attention. Jersey Joe put prime Louis down in sparring and some say he won the first Louis fight.
Nice to see this thread has taken off and shows how astute the Classic posters regarding Golovkin's Golovkin Brook was such a strange performance by Gennady. He took some huge shots and even huge combos that he didnt need to. He never set anything up, just wildly swinging, and thats not gonna work against some with the skills and slickness of Brook He could have pummelled him with the jab, outboxed him, broken him down then finished him off. Golovkin said he was wanting a street fight and i can see no other explanation for the way he fought If that's not bringing entertainment to the masses then i dont know what is
I WANT Golovkin to be an atg Middleweight and to knockout all of current 160 but I'm not going to start kissing his ass and say he beats atg's like Hagler and Duran just because he beat David Lemieux. Duran and Hagler at Middleweight would have gone right through GGG's resume with equal or greater ferocity.
I think we should wait until ggg has finished his career its not only unfair on the atg's like Leonard, haggler and Robinson (and many many others) but on triple g himself hopefully soon he will prove himself once his careers over we can start pitting him against these men maybe. respect to ggg and hope him the best if he gets a real challenging fight
