I am actually surprised GGG has more than 15% of the votes. Wow.

You're laughable. "Real" fans. You're the one all angry. I don't need to do damage control. Here are the facts Triple G won last night against the consensus #1 contender in his division. A fighter 5 years younger, and bigger. Only a butt hurt arm chair know nothing like yourself would try endlessly to spin it into a negative.

    Dino don't know

I freaking love Golovkin, but I think Hagler would be all kinds of wrong for him, especially if he pressed the action on the inside. I'm not going to vote against GGG on the poll though!

This guy is monomanic. He zeroes in on a fighter and then for the next 10 years he creeps around every thread urinating o that fighter. :duh

When your response post is entirely about me and not the issue at hand , it says you can't find anything to say about the sport , hence why you are a casual fan of individuals and not the boxing itself.
All casuals hit back with insults to deflect away from the fact they dksab.

This is why BCS8 never has anything of substance to post and can only flame. You rank bellow him.

And you rank below both of us. Dino the dummy.
All you do is pop up and hate and then insult like a baby. IT's tired. I already made my case and because you lack the IQ to debate with me you change the topics.
Fact remains Triple G fought and defeated his #1 contender in his division. A prime peak opponent both younger and bigger than him.

Well you are not alone. It was a close fight. I believe the British broadcast had him losing? First time I watched it I had 7-5 GGG. second time I had it 6-6 with KD giving it to GGG. Most ringsiders felt he won. Most press felt he won. But I'm not going to go crazy over anyone who felt he lost because it was very close fight.
My beef is people are acting like he lost big or was stopped. That didn't happen, close fight he got the nod. Against a BIG middle who was the #1 contender. At one month shy of 35 this isn't a horrible result that to me spells doom in all time standings. I do want a rematch

He was supposed to destroy Jacobs. Other than that flash knockdown, Jacobs took his shots very well. I was even shocked.

Well he was "supposed to destroy Jacobs" only because he has set the bar so high for himself with the KO streak. It wasn't because Jacobs is a bad fighter. He's not.
Jacobs took the shots great, credit to him. He was also very big at fight time which likely helped him and was a good strategical plan for him. However many punchers fold when they can't knock out their opponent, Triple G on the other hand boxed and boxed well. Really showcased his Jab like in the Lemieux fight.
This is a good win for GGG. He took on the #1 contender. Who was younger (5 years), taller, much heavier, and a Big puncher (29kos in 32 wins), and he outoboxed him for a close but clear win.

I'd also like to nominate Hopkins as a guy who would beat GGG.

Ko'ing mediocre opponents is simply not impressive in other fighters eyes. Jacobs was GGG's first real test and he didn't look like the monster that fans created. Don't get me wrong Jacob is a good all around fighter but GGG didn't look like a star like Hagler and other greats did against their comp.

I don't get the clear win part that you keep insinuating. Many people disagree with you. It was not a clear victory for imo. However I scored it for GGG because I'm one of those sticklers who believes that the challenger has to be clearly dominate to win the belt.
