BODY is the right word Modmania

A relentless, sustained asault on Marvin's body, a cracked rib or two later, and Hagler is a screaming crippled heap on the canvas

    Golovkin KO8 Hagler

In my opinion, GGG is a TOP 3 pound for pound fighter right now. However, GGG has not faced very elite competition. Marvin Hagler faced much better competition. If GGG faces the very best, he will look much more human too. People are getting confused over this.

To say Hagler would get KOD is disturbing to say the least. This is a guy who took bombs from big punchers such as Hearns, Roldan and Mugabi. He has a tremendous, chin, heart, resilience and conditioning.

I agree. Triple G's only shot is to knock Marvin out and nobody could do that

Obel was a banger too and Hagler walked through all of his bombs.

Not really. GGG did a shitty job of cutting the ring off against Brook. If you think Hagler was a simple pressure fighter who relied on cutting the ring off then you don't know anything about Hagler.

lol Ok so you just admitted you didn't watch the fight.

Brook spent about 90% of the fight on the ropes or in the corner when you actually watch the fight you'll see that..

golovkin made brook have to fight. he was in kell's face and throwing heavy leather from the opening bell. the only other option for kell, which he resorted to by the fifth round, was to flat out run away like most golovkin opponents do.

of course i'd pick the marvelous one. but his career is finalized. we know what he was about, no doubt. golovkin has a ways to go yet. but since hagler, it has been hopkins and golovkin at middleweight. i'd like to see golovkin against bjs and jacobs. no great shakes, but he could unify, no easy feat these days.

You seem to have missed all of the times Golovkin is swinging for the trees and misses. Don't try debating with me if you are just going to be bias in Golovkin's favor.

No one can properly answer this

Marvin has proven himself arguably the GOAT MW

Golovkin has a record of 386-5

    Savage puncher
    Granite chin
    ATG jab
    ATG ring cutter
    High ring IQ
    Massive experience
    Relentless pressure while remaining calm
Faced and beaten (often destroyed) every style of boxer
Even more ducked than Marvin was

We're talking two of the GOAT 160s fighting one another. There is no definitive answer to this

Golovkin missed a lot more than he has since the Ouma fight, that has nothing to do with him cutting off the ring which he did to perfection
