So in other words you have no clue! You have open handed and allowed? Nice one. In 1902, Johnson was 185 pounds vs Gardner, a full 15 more pounds than your " open handed " guess of 170 pound guess in 1901.

I have posted the fight write up here before. And I have also shown you Johnson went low and fired multiple low blows which is why he was DQ'd.

These were Jeanette's words. Just like Johnson said Langford was in the 130 pound range when he beat him, and according to research only 20 years of age!

Tivia question of the day ( all backed up by facts. ) Name the only heavyweight champion to get knocked out cold by a middle weight, foul out of a fight, and quit twice in the ring!

    :) have a nice day loser.:lol::lol::lol:

It is difficult debating with someone who not only cannot spell or, write properly , but also cannot count.

I said that when Johnson fought Choynsky on the 25th of Feb ,1901 he likely weighed "around 172lbs", I based this on the fact that ,10 months earlier he scaled 168lbs for a fight with McCormick.
So, I added 4 lbs to his weight, and I did say "around 172lbs", which is not ,as you post 170lbs.

This seems reasonable to me,of course its possible that he might have LOST weight, possible, but unlikely.

My point is,[which everyone but you grasped long ago,] that when you say Johnson was kod by a super middle ,he was not anything other than that himself. You say supper middle but we assume you mean super.:yep

Now ,to Gardner, the Gardner fight was 20 months AFTER the Choynsky fight, so it is quite possible that Johnson would have put on 13lbs during this time.

I have posted ringside reports of the Johnson/Jeannette DSQ fight, they unequivocably state that Johnson was the superior fighter during the brief fight, they also state that the ONE low punch was debatable and that many if not most ,did NOT even see it.

Given that Jeannette NEVER beat Johnson other than this ONE debatable time and, that Jack was clearly on top during this fight ,what would be Johnson's motive for fouling out in a fight he was obviously winning?

Some actually suggested that Jeannette dogged it ,and that it should be recorded as a win for Johnson.

Jeannette speaking about his fights with Johnson at the time he was angling for a rematch is NOT A PRIMARY SOURCE.

Neither is a ghosted thrice translated tome that Johnson did not pen ,a PRIMARY SOURCE.

TIVIA question ? I'll decipher that as trivia.

The only heavyweight champion I know who was kod cold by a middle weight was Jimmy Ellis whilst fighting at 160lbs ,the man who accomplished this was Ruben Carter.

Jack Johnson was kod by Joe Choynsky in 1901. Choynsky, fortunately for us, had fought just 17 days earlier against Wild Bill Hanrahan for this fight Choynsky scaled 169 lbs, so, unless you are suggesting he dropped 9lbs in 17 days he was NOT a middleweight when he fought Johnson.

Johnson was DQ'd ONCE in 37 years of boxing, having had around 80 fights.

He retired between rounds 7 and 8 against Bob Lawson, he was 48 years old.

Johnson retired between rounds 6 and 7 , against Bill Hartwell, he had broken his hand in the 2nd round,Johnson was 50 years old.

    "All backed up by facts"

Actually, I think it is pretty disgusting that a piece of work like you ,who has never fought in a ring , should see those losses as a stain on the man's record. but, I suppose hate does that to a man, though I am reluctant to call you such.

Have a nice day? Yes I will .

I shall take my 4 dogs out for a ramble on a friends farm , come back in time to cook dinner for my girlfriend, and go shooting later tonight.

You see, when you are financially comfortable and ,not a slave to the clock, you can do what the hell you want, in other words,it's all cake.

In the words of Matt Damon, taken from the film "Good Will Hunting".

"How do you like them apples"? :hi:

JT, obviously I wouldn't be that insufferably smug to anyone else, but Mendozy is such a *****.

The problem is ,you can't get any real satisfaction out of humiliating him because as you say ,he is such an easy mark, and, try,as you may, you will never make him look as big a fool as he does himself.

If you compensate for the fact that what Jeffries/Johnson were as big then as Lewis/Klitschko are today, then it might be the case.
