I've seen the whole of Joe's career, so when was his prime? When he went life and death with Robin Reid (who straight after got his head boxed off by Silvio Branco)? When he sent everyone to sleep by laboring to a tedious points win over David Starie? What about when he challenged the LOSER of the Echols/Brewer fight and couldn't put away the chinny no-hoper Brewer? Maybe his super fight against living legend Tocker Pudwill was a good example of how good prime Calzaghe was? Or how about when he got put flat on his back by feather-fisted journeyman Kabary Salem?
Great post!!!! Also, let's not forget that "Prime Cokeslappy" wasn't interested in tough fights because he wanted to make as much money as possible to see the best medical help to cure his "fear of losing, err I mean flying". Fear of flying, that's it. I swear this clown has to be the most celebrated fighter to accomplish slightly less than nothing that has ever lived. People wet their pants because Joe slapped around Jeff ****ing Lacy. I also have read that Calslappy was gonna pull out of that fight initially. Jeff ****ing Lacy and you are thinking of backing out? I will give him credit for the Kessler win, but that's pretty much the highlight of his resume. Old Eubank, Hopkins and Jones, congrats Joe, have another gram of coke on me!!!!
hagler would kill joe. no way joe would sontemplate a fight with him except maybe a shuffling fortysomething hagler, whom he would then showboat, laugh and giggle around and whoop with joy after narrowly outpointing him. (just going by what joe did in real life, don't blame me blame joe for what he does, blame joe).
