Resume doesn't matter, Roy can beat Hearns too, it doesn't matter. Hearns might be one of the most nightmarish opponents, but he lacks in some qualities, doesn't have James Toney defense, doesn't have Hopkins IQ and toughness, so individually even though Hearns is a nightmarish opponent, it's not something Roy can't defeat. Athleticism definitely do mean something if a great mind is using those athletic gifts to its advantage.

Hagler is not FAR better than B-hop, in a fight I would actually favor B-hop to win, that alone dismantles your argument, and you must've forgot B-hop looked like a C-level fighter against Roy. Roy would run circles around Hagler easily.

Besides his 1 inch reach it doesn't matter, it literally doesn't matter it's just one inch. Besides reach and chin which do not really matter in boxing, Roy is better than Hagler in all assets. Roy cardio is better, Roy has better speed, okay maybe his jab and fundamentals are lacking, but Roy has a fast jab and unorthodox style, he doesn't need fundamentals it doesn't matter. Roy has faster reflexes and he has, and this might sound controversial, but Roy has better defense. Roy's offense is his defense. Only way Hagler can win is if he brings a gun to the fight.

Roy def did fight someone offensively skilled as Hagler and Hagler has not fought anyone as good as Roy. Hagler lost to a twice retired old Sugar Ray who is the closest comparison to Roy, but even Roy is better than SRL.

Timing kills speed, but speed and timing kills all. Have you watched that video with Roy sparring a guy named Asa Speed Dalphone. At one time Roy made a beautiful feint to make the guy dodge, and at that split second the guy dodged, Roy timed a right cross perfectly. Ya'll overrate Roy too much and say he's ALL speed and no technique when that's far from the truth, FAR from the truth. Roy was smart and knew how to utilize his speed, and on top of that Roy is a hard worker and would be so disappointed for being remembered, or even as a BARELY remembered fighter who only used his speed to dominate. Please do not downplay Roy's hard work and his natural talent besides his speed. So many fighters have fast hands like Roy's but are nowhere near Roy's level of success.

You said a lot of stuff without saying much. The key to debating is not about speaking volumes but rather speaking in simplistic terms that get the point straight across. Simply but, what can Hagler do better than Roy besides having better fundamentals and a good jab and a good chin? If you've ever boxed before I can dismantle your entire argument and every verbal progress you made with all that jibber jabber texting can be dismantled with one small argument. Eye test wise I just don't see Roy losing. Think about a man whose fists can move at 5,000 miles per hour with no boxing experience vs a boxer who has 5,000 years of experience and skills. I would favor the man whose fists can move at 5,000 per hour. You make a lot of assumptions about Hagler and make a lot of equivocal criticism about Roy which just goes to show how bias and flavorful you are towards Hagler, and please don't let that bias cloud your judgement. Roy is faster, Roy can think faster, Roy has an unorthodox style that disrupts fundamentals, Roy is better than SRL who beat Hagler, Roy has faster reflexes than Hagler, Roy also has good timing to pair with his godly speed, so tell me, how can Hagler win? You just seem to dismiss everyone and add salt to your own wounds everytime someone makes a good point and you have to post all of that verbatim volume just to cover one sentence of your opposition, absolutely shameful way to debate, absolutely shameful, and judging by your talk essence and your old school profile I can tell your an old timer fan and I have lot of respect for you old timers but come on, the way you debate is just not honorable, it's not a good cup of tea to drink from, you know what I'm saying? Have some dignity when debating please.

B hop give Roy one of the most competitive fights in his prime, he absolutely didn't look like a C level fighter.

Yes I know he gave Prime Roy a hard time but Roy still made him look foolish, in all of B-hops fights, I have NEVER seen B-hop look that hesitant, never.

Jones was from the rehydration era, sized up Hagler may get to him, but as they were, Jones wins on points.
