Y'all must've forget. Hagler was pure granite, had much stronger fundamentals than Roy, could take it inside, fight southpaw or orthodox. Roy might take the early rounds but Hagler would grind him down as the fight wore on. Roy's worst nightmare.

Hagler was a good fighter with a strong physique for his size.

Roy however is naturally much bigger and still faster, so this would really be an unfair fight.

People who think Hagler would win must be imagining Hagler bigger than he is... just like when some people think Mayweather may beat Ali.

Prime Roy is about as invincible as you could come close to in boxing...

Sure prime Roy was a brilliant fighter, but who the hell did he fight at MW? A very green Hopkins. Who else was even a third of the fighter Hagler was at 160?

Hagler would have knocked his head into the nose bleed section. Roid has no Chin. None.

its hard to say, Roy Jones hurt his career by carrying on the illusion that he was invincible and not fighting the lineal champions until it was too late

His one win over Bernard Hopkins and James Toney are the only thing that really sets him apart

Hagler however was beaten by a smaller fighter in Leonard, went to war with Hearns and had to take Duran the distance

Hard argument either way but im going with Jones to outbox Hagler to a somewhat close but clear UD

Roy= Bigger, Faster and more powerful than Leonard who beat Hagler. Me thinks Roy wins by wide UD but there is a chance for a Hagler KO although Roy didn't show shaky whiskers until he came back from heavyweight so I doubt this happens seeing as Hagler will be punching air all night for the most part.

Jones would give Marvelous a fit for the first 3 or 4 rounds, then Marvin would find that chin and Jones would hit the mat like a sack of potatoes, and stay there

What is this illusion that prime Roy Jones had no chin? Seriously you guys.

RJJ by decision on this one, just much bigger and better.

Illusion? What color is the sky in your world?:rofl:patsch

The guy was put on his ass by feather fisted Lou Del Valle in his so-called Prime. He spent that Prime avoiding anybody who could punch, never fighting a lineal, unified, or undisputed champion, he collected trinket belts, and then got his Glass Jaw shattered on multiple occasions. He and his nuthuggers then concocted numerous excuses as to why his Frangible Mandible was being shattered rather than seeing the simple fact that he was fighting guys who could punch and fight rather than off-duty police officers and garbagemen. His career was a dog and pony show and he was and is a joke and a disgrace to Boxing.
