Hagler would win. Jones got so much better after he left MW. He's vastly overated there head to head. I think he would be a difficult fight for a lot of these guys, but was a little to green to beat many of them.
Hagler too skilled with too good of a chin. RJJ wasn't quite prime at MW. This is very deep waters for RJJ.
Sure is. How would Roy EVER equal the performance of the great Antefeurmo, or duplicate the feat of a great welterweight and actually be able to hang with Hagler? :nut
Was Roy Jones one round better than Vito Antuefermo? I think there is at least an outside chance that he was.:yep Haglar is a top 5 guy on my all time favorites list, but he gets massively over rated on ESB.
Yeah because we all know Hagler was at his very peak for the SRL fight having conceded to SRL that he had no desire to fight and was considering retirement before SRL wanted the fight. Hagler is only a top 3 MW with a very relentless skilled style. What fight of Roy's at MW makes you think he destroys Hagler? By far his best win at MW is over a very green Hopkins. At SMW, Jones destroys Hagler but MW is a different story.
Erm i'm quite new around here but even i know that saying a prime marvin hagler has no chance at a middleweight bout is a bit :huh. I agree RJJ speed, movement, power and elusiveness would give hagler major problems, but when you have a fighter with haglers chin, stamina, mental toughness and good power in both hands they are always gonna have a chance. i think RJJ on points is the most likely outcome, closely followed by a late stoppage for Hagler. Just my opinion though :good
