Marvin Hagler vs. Roy Jones

If it's 1980 - 1982 Hagler, even Jones cannot survive this monster for long

 

Roy was slicker than Leonard and more powerful than Hearns. This is a nightmare matchup for Marvin.

 

Hagler batters him for a decision win.

 

I think Hagler is just too tough and well-rounded at MW. RJJ will have his fantastic speed of course, but Hagler will manage to land enough over the fight that Roy will be in trouble the later it goes. Over 15 rounds I heavily favour the Marvellous one. Over 12 Jones could take enough of a lead to win on points, though I think I still favour Hagler. 10 or less, RJJ probably wins.

 

Hagler would need to brawl like the Tommy fight.
His problem is Roy is more elusive, has a better chin, and had better stamina than Hearns at 160. Hagler's crazy long jab would be real important. It's hard to choose, they could both win in a series of fights I think.
