Its not USAIN Bolt doesn't fight in weight classes, so the pool of long legged mack daddies down in Jamiaca was not tapped in.

In Boxing SRR or SRL who were dry beef jerky at 147, will humiliate any HGH inflated midget coming up from 106lbs, boxing divisions neutralizes alot of PED advantages. A dried down SRR at Welterweight Right hands will be too long & too fast for Floyd or Pacman...SRL at Welterweight was still too big

Its about Natural weight, bring a modern rangy Welterweight (ala Errol Spence), I will favor him over Pacman or Floyd & give him a chance vs ATGs. Mainly because reach matters in boxing

In heavyweight that general rule of evolutionary sport is 100% correct, but not in the weight restricted divisions.

Modern heavyweights are best of any era, the restricted divisions didn't change alot. You use a bit HGH & you booted yourself out of your own weight class, no advantage at all

You're right, but it does matter in smaller divisons as well, simply because of the training methods, nutrition and fitness of athletes nowadays, if Mayweather fought Sugar Ray and neither took any PED, I believe Floyd would win 8/10 times, if Floyd was born in the era of Sugar Ray then he would lose 8/10 times, but if both fought as they were at peaks of their respective careers, I believe Floyd would be a massive favourite. It obviously diminishes in the smaller weights classes as there are restrictions to which you can push yourself but I think geniunely, that Klitschko would beat Ali 9/10 if they fought at their peaks, the only loss would be due to Klits chin which is suspect as we all know.

Sugar Ray Robinson was a rangier explosive boxer, only Felix Trinidad can be compared to him in size/power, except Sugar Ray Robinson was more dynamic boxer.

Floyd is not a legitimate Welterweight, PED or not Sugar Ray Robinson destroys Floyd & any inflated smaller guy who moves to Welter

Judge Floyd at his natural weight, at 130 & I favor him over any ATG. Outside of 130, he starts struggling with Castillo at 135, let alone Sugar Ray Robinson at 147

Ali main game was range & a solid chin that survived the temporary loss of range, Wlad size takes away the range & Ali gets beaten. Heavyweight evolution is obvious, because its open for all kinds growth, we will see bigger heavyweights fighting at high pace, because its possible, PEDs & bigger gene pool to recruit from, makes an investment in a heavyweight worth it. In the restricted divisions, its still down to the primal mental strength, no modern PED can help a mentally weak guy become a boxer, let a lone a champion or an ATG!

Who's resume would be picked apart this day in age just like you did to GGG and Canelo's right there.

Actually, yes, it is blasphemy, and here's why:

    1) You can make a strong argument that Marvin never lost. All of his losses and draws are considered highly questionable. He was never once dominated in the ring.

    2) Marvin was determined to hold on to ALL the belts, so he took mandatories seriously. THe rematches with Hamsho, Obelmajias, etc. were all dictated to him by sanctioning bodies. He didn't want those fights....they made him do it.

    3) Marvin dominated the division essentially from about 1979 (earlier if he'd been given a chance) until 1987. That's eight years. It's not his fault that none of the challengers could do a thing with him.

Hagler had a decent reign.. Guys like Vito, Hamsho, Sibson and Fully Obel were pretty good. And Mugabi punched hard.. Hagler helped those guys also. People say Duran went 15 with him which helped Duran resume,, Hearns had the best round of his career. LEonard beat Hagler. They helped each other, and I don't think GGG beats Duran or Hearns that easily.. GGG worked into Duran' kind of fight.. Guys who beat Duran were fast and used angles to confuse him and outbox him.. Except for Hearns, who hit with the right too hard and fast..Hagler's resume was better than GGG even had he not fought the other 3.

I seem to see Hagler in my mind busting up GGG.. Hagler was a very technical guy usually. With Hearns he knew he had to get close and avoid the range of Hearns right.. But with GGG he had a 5 inch reach advantage and would use that to bust him up and stop him by TKO.

Marvin is one of VERY few guys who never really took a pounding in his career. Ali, Leonard, Lewis, Duran, most any great fighter you can mention, at some point endured a vicious ass-kicking. Not Marvin. Even if you think he lost to Leonard (I don't), he was at the very least very competitive in the fight.

I'm sorry, but if GGG doesn't have a better resume it's not his fault. A short list of guys who at least avoided him or even ran scared:
    Felix Sturm
    Chavez Jr
    Sergio Martinez
    Miguel Cotto
Canelo Alvarez for at least 2 years
    Floyd Mayweather
In the end GGG fought the best opponents avaliable for him, and he gets my respect from that.

    Off to a disastrous ending.

Erase the rest of the Fab (Marvin himself, SRL, and RD) from Hearns' resume and he isn't just as "regular" as Hag???? Names like Pipino Cuevas and Iran Barkley are supposed to, what, put a lot of distance between Hearns and Hagler? Seriously, man?

edit: don't come at this like you're debating some GGG stan with a vicarious agenda. You know that isn't where I'm coming from here. I see the point you were going for in your OP, but you chose a target in Hag that if you want to do something like this with, you know damn well you better come correct and you came sloppy, bro.
