What I will say is that Hart was not thought to be in Sharkey's league in his own day. Beyond that they are both come forward fighters and punchers so it should be exciting.
Marvin Hart KO 2. Hart beat Jack Johnson, who is 100x better than Sharkey. If Hart can beat Johnson, then imagine what he would do to Sharkey. He would literally kill him!:yep
Although Johnson is better than anybody that Sharkey beat the rest of Hart's record dose not stack up verry well against Sharkeys.
Marvin Hart was not a great fighter, but he was often cheered for giving a good effort. Hart had a good right hand, a decent chin, good stamina. This would be a fans fight for as long as it lasts, but in the end Sharkey hit harder, was more durable, and that would be the difference in a non-finesse fight. Sharkey via KO.

Sharkey bt ko late ,Hart has one big name on his belt,and that was contraversial,Sharkey lost most of the big ones but he wouldnt lose this one.
actually i think Hart has a shout, he was a better boxer, had good stamina(like Sharkey) and was almost as dirty. He held his own with Gardner, O'Brien, Root etc. so he was no mug.
I think Sharkey´s power, toughness and dirty fight style would be too much after 10 hard, close and very brutal round. A right hand would knock Hart out cold. Sharkey KO 11 Hart (4-6)
All Light heavies,Sharkey was a cruiser by todays standards but he was strong rugged and tough ,Harts record isnt that much if you take out the Johnson fight.
