I think Johnson's attack may be a bit too predictable... I'd favor Willie to outslick him to a pts dec.
3 time World champ Marvin Johnson was a dangerous and exciting southpaw. Usually lost when taking on top tier fighters like Saad Muhammad (was winning 1st fight and Saad was on the verge of losing on cuts the 2nd), Michael Spinks and Eddie Mustapha Muhammad but beat aging great Galindez, decent Parlov, future champ Prince Charles Williams and twice koed Eddie Davis who gave Spinks (some say robbed) and Qawi tough fights. Pastrano wasn´t much of a puncher but had many fights vs heavyweights in their hometowns and came away with more wins than losses. Quality boxer with strong chin and his win over Harold Johnson was a big surprise. Marvin´s energectic attack would trouble Pastrano early on but he handled the power of heavyweight punchers like Dick RIchardson, Joe Bygraves (knocked out Henry Cooper) and Rex Layne without folding. I think he would start timing Johnson´s attack from the 5th and take complete control in the latter rounds to pummel a tired and cut Johnson for a clear decision. This content is protected
