does johnson with his southpaw stryle take the slick conn or does conn out box johnson?who wins and how?
Billy`s footwork would win him the day here, too quick and shifty on his toes was Conn at his best for Marvin. His fighting Irish pride would see him stand and trade here and there and thus allow Marvin to get in a few licks, but when Conn goes into boxing mode he will outbox Johnson handily.
This fight could go either way.If Conn decides to box Johnson, he wins by decision. But if Billy decides to fight Marvin, he loses by 12 round stoppage.
Conn by wide UD. He's fought and beaten southpaws (Bettina) and also fought and beaten much bigger punchers than Johnson. He has much more experience beating much greater fighters than Johnson beat. I see Johnson as having only one conceivable advantage- power - and unless you were Joe Louis power was never going to be enough against Conn.
