Would be a great fight at lhw. Marvin had the power and Glen had the durability. I'm going with Marvin on points. Thoughts?

Distance could be a pretty big decider here, depending on the Marvin. A green, less learned Pops could gas out trying to move him man, and lose too many rounds, but I wouldn't bank on it honestly.

Prime Marvin fought at a high volume with power in every shot, yet paced him well enough to sustain it. When he dismantled Galíndez and Parlov, he broke them down, but kept his pace high. I don't think Glen has the goods you needed to take out Pops, just the chin to go the distance with him.

Glen could go downstairs and would be around that area, but I don't think he'd win. The exchanges on the inside would be legendary though.

I'd be interested to see who was stronger, Glen looks it but he was pushed back by González, I can't remember when Pops was at length.

The Marvin I saw live in Philly overwelms the road warrriar and stops him in 7.

I'm not sure Glen Johnson absorbs the body punishment from this guy. I do not think he does. The head shots he can--unless he gets caught clean by an uppercut. And Marvin sure threw a bunch of them.

But I think it is the body punishment that does Glen Johnson in late. He'd be worn out by the 8th round from absorbing and that kind of pace. His toughness and durability would see him last another round or two, but this opponent will not take his foot off the gas and the ref will wave it off around the 10th round. A borderline terrible beating the last few rounds too.

Marvin stops him late. Glen could take a good shot but the punishment catches up with him.

Marvin Johnson would be to busy for Glen Johnson.
Late stoppage for Marvin Johnson, the ref would
    stop the fight.

I'm sorry but this is an asinine opinion. Not a chance in hell he would even come close to stopping Glen Johnson, Johnson has a legit ATG chin.

YOU ARE WRONG AND I AM RIGHT. I SAW JOHNSON OVERWELM A LOT OF STURDY GUYS FROM RINGSIDE. HE WOULD DO THE SAME TO GLEN.

Marvin gets a safe (2-3 point) decision over Glen but he ain't KO'ing him. Glen knew how to last the distance despite fighting so often in compromising conditions and picked as an opponent on short notice.
