Marvin Sonsona v Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.

They actually look to be the same size to me there, barring Sonsona's gay hair-style. Although Boxrec has Vazquez down at 5'6" with a 66" reach, and Sonsona at 5'7" (no reach measurement).

 

Sonsona will Ko this guy and score multiple KD's. I hope so anyway.

This is a very interesting fight. Here's a video of a press conference, at the end you can actually check out the stare down. I feel like I don't know enough of either fighter to have a solid opinion on who should win, but in the video Vazquez looks very determined and very hungry so we'll see.

:huh ok... Anyways, I'm looking forward to the fights. I think the Vazquez/Sonsona fight will come down to who controls the distance better. Vazquez should try to take the fight to Sonsona on the inside, but Sonsona has long arms and he knows how to use them. I'm actually leaning towards Sonsona a bit, but it should be entertaining. :good

Vaquez is older and has fought all his career at 122.Vasquez is a son of a legend, so he definitely grew up in and around Boxing.I think it's 50:50 the Sonsona kid has not been tested above 115 and we will see if he can handle 122'er that the Rican is, it's in his backyard so the crowd will back him fa sure he will be reved up for this.Sonsona has not been in this kind of atmosphere.Sonsona will fight the following;the crowd, the ref, and judges IMO.It's a mental test for the young man as well as physical and all of which can play a factor on this fight. Vasquez might try a few illegals on Sonsona and we don't know how the young kid will handle it low blows, rough-housing, headbutts etc..

 

Well I know vazquez is fighting in PR and he is probalby excited and happy about it. Plus this is his first big event of his career and fighting for a dream, for a championship. But still he was talking a lot of **** in that press conference and i hate cocky fighters that talk **** especially if they dont back it up. So after talking all that **** he better win or lose in a war, he has to show a lot of fukking heart with all that I come from the streets talk and that his school was fighting in the streets and how he's going to win. Maybe he was trying to intimidate sonsona with his mouth now he has to do it with his knuckles.

Sonsona will be fine at this weight in his fight in montreal he had problem making that lower weight and just because your dad was a boxer does not
mean nothing, you eather have it or you don't and Sonsona has it and he will "win" VAGES is not stupid thats why he is favored to win i home town advantage was a big thing in this fight Vasquez jr would be a big favorite but hes not.:deal

 

But let us not forget he is a young boy.I don't know if he can handle the atmostphere.He's not mature enough or experienced enough.It's a rush JOB.BUT it doesn't seem to bother the KID at all.Vasquez is trying to intimidate the young lad trying to get an advantage over the kid.Let's see who is the better boxer when it's down to who is stronger and tougher.

 

Sonsona knows what he did in montreal and want's to prove that he 's no fluk he want's this bad, I have seen Vazquez jr last 2 fights and he's not that good you will see this week. I make my living from boxing I have done extremely well I have been doing this for over 30 years.
